  1. Wash the all dal together and take a pressure cooker and add 1.5 cups of water, dal and mix well.

  1. Wash the dal and soak it in enough water at least for 30 minutes 
  2. Now combine the toor dal, Curds, green chilies, fenugreek leaves and ½ cup of water in a mixer and blend a smooth paste.
  3. Now transfer the mixture in the bowl and add 2 tbsp oil, asafoetida, Besan, sugar, and salt and mix it well.
  4. Make 2 portions of the batter and add fruit salt to one of the portions and mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased of 175 mm thali and spread it by rotating the thali.
  6. Steam it in a steamer till the dhoklas are cooked
  7. Repeat the step according to your need of serving
  8. Now heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add mustard seeds and sesame seeds
  9. Once it started crackle add asafoetida and sauté it for a medium flame for a few seconds
  10. Pour this tempering equally on dhokla
  11. Let it cool and then cut it into diamond-shaped pieces.
  12. Garnish with coriander and coconut and serve the dhokla with green chutney.
