Combination of Rentio toor dal and 2 other dal (moong and masoor dal) which is used to make darbari dal transformed totally when we add yogurt and cream in it.
Darbari dal is a famous royal kitchen dish made with the help of 3 types of dal and flavored with kasoori methi.

Ingredients
- Masoor dal- 1/3 cup
- Moong dal- 1/3 cup
- Rentio tuwar dal- 3 tbsp
- Onion- 1 (Finely chopped)
- Tomatoes- 2 (Finely chopped)
- Garlic Paste- 1 tbsp
- Garam masala- ½ tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp
- Yogurt- 2 tbsp
- Cream- 2 tbsp
- Kasoori Methi- 2 tbsp
- Turmeric- A pinch
- Red chili powder- 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder- ½ tbsp
Instructions
1. Wash and rinse all dal and soak it to for an hour2. Take a pressure cooker and heat by adding 2 tbsp oil and then add cumin seeds.
3. Once seeds started splutter then add kasoori methi and onion and cook it until translucent. Add ginger paste and cook it further for one minute
4. Add tomatoes and all the powders and salt as required and cook till tomatoes become mushy
5. Now add the soaked dal, mix well and coat it with spices
6. Add ½ cup water, close the lid and cook it for 3 whistles on a high flame and lower the flame and cook for more 1 whistle
7. Let the pressure of the cooker release on its own and then open the lid, add yogurt and cream into it and garnish with coriander leaves.
