Ingredients
For the masala
- Ghee-1/2 tbsp
- Kashmiri red chilies- 1
- Asafoetida- ¼ tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1.5 tsp
- Rentio tuwar dal- 1.5 tsp

- Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
- Ghee- 1 tsp
- Kashmiri red chili- 1
- Curry leaves- 7 to 8
- Tamarind pulp- 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
How to make jeera pepper rasam?
For the masala
- Heat the ghee in a small fry pan, add all the ingredients in it and saute it on a slow flame for 5-6 minutes till they release the aroma. For toor dal, it is recommended to use rentio toor dal in the recipe and to get the dal you can go with toor dal online shopping.
